ORGANIC, THE FUTURE OF AGRICULTURE?
Les Vergers de la Vallée was bought in 1968 by Edouard Fallon. At that time, he was already running his father's orchards located on the hillside in Beez. These were destroyed by the construction of the famous viaduct.
In Hanret, the orchard already existed before the war and was operated by Mr. Esman. We have kept a row of pear trees planted in 1938, which were probably among the first low-stemmed trees in Belgium and are still producing.
